The pyramids of Giza.

Out of the seven wonders of the ancient world there is one left, this is the pryamids of Giza.These pyramids were the first really pointed pyramids in ancient Egypt. The pyramids are some of the greats monuments the ancient world has to offer. There are three pyramids but there is one that is much bigger. The bigger one is known as the great pyramid of Giza.

The great pyramid was made as a tomb for the Egytian Pharaoh Khufu.It was the tallest bulding on earth for about five thousand years.The great pyramid is 147 metres (481 feet) tall. It is estimated that around 2.3 million blocks of stone was used to build this pyramid.
